started my oz turbo build 06/01/09
I have a 04 lancer oz and my goal is to turbo it properly. And the only way to do that is to do it the right way i have a sds performance full standalone t25 turbo greddy intercooler alone with piping 450injectors the list just go's on and on and on any ways i would not of been able to do any of it if it wasnt for these lancer forums so in return lol i will post as many pics as i can

I agree with the neons looking sick at night, i had some on my car for about 3 hours before i hit a tire that flew off a truck on the freeway and broke one of the bulbs Looks awesome tho man. What gauges you runnin?

Any particular reason you have the hotside intercooler piping going over the turbo? No clearance issues with the hood?

On this build there is no internal parts being replace,The engine has 5000km on it. It was just put in 2months ago the old one was toast thx to team ripp's and there ****ty superchargers. I live in canada and it is just to hard to get all the parts and know how for what this engine needs (internally, My gauges are glow shift and I also have a really pricey wideband im not sure the name of the company that makes it. All i know is it costs 400$ It is included with my standalone from sds performance so i wont even see it for a couple more weeks, With the hood on i still have 1/2 clearance so the piping will work with no worries of rubbing ( i hope!) All said and done the guys from sds think at 10psi i should be able to get between 195-205 hp safely with the proper tune

if youre gonna run 10psi you might wanna look into internals. yea there are lucky ppl like senate to run 13psi on stock and of course the unlucky to run 7psi and *POP*...all in all i like your setup and keep us updated

It ain't luck, it's all in the tune. And it's not about the amount of boost, it's the amount of power it creates. So luck = tuned. I tuned for 13psi. Whoever it was that popped on 7psi had really bad detonation and no tune IIRC.
Your stock internals can safely hold 220-230whp on a good tune. Anything beyond that is risky. Whatever amount of boot it takes to obtain that power, it doesn't matter. 5psi, 10psi, 15psi... it's all relative
