Yet another turbo question.

What is an easy solution to getting an evo dp to fit my 06 lancer es? I know custom fabrication is one option, but is there anything easier?

Custom is the only option.

Isn't there a way to get it to fit by using an evo o2 housing? Or is that to be done in addition to the dp extension?

So it seems like a 12 inch straight extension will work if added on near the end. Is this correct?

more like.. near the front.. it needs to be extended downword just after where the o2 and downpipe meet, cuz it doesnt have enough length to go under the motor..

you need to tackle this problem when you come up to it.. its nothing i would worri about now.. its seriously a 10 minute fix at a muffler shop.

Dude the turbo manifold that speedcorps was gonna release was set up in such a way where you can use an evo 8 16g, o2 housing, and dp and it was supposed to line up with the exhaust. Due to speedcorps changing hands though, they are refunding the people who made preorders. Although the owner did say that he was gonna try to put something together for the people who want one before the company changes hands.............

I think they're changing the fabricator and still trying to make the manifold before they switch over.

I've sent emails and pm's.... and they don't respond. I'm sure they're only going to finish them up for those who have already pre-ordered.

I didn't change anything on the dp. I just had the exhaust shop, take out my cat and put a longer test pipe in it's place.

Unfortunately my car is registered in a county where emissions testing is mandatory, so I'd have to extend it eventually anyway. The other question I have is approximately where do I put the o2 bungs...the o2 housing has one.... so do I put additional bungs in the housing? Or else what position on the actual downpipe should the bungs be fabricated (on top or bottom, on the right or left side)?

EDIT: Am I not going to be able to use my stock cat with the evo dp? Eventually I will go high flow but I cannot just run a testpipe here.

Also, what gauges are the most important to have... obviously boost for one of them, and I was thinking wideband for another and then i dont know if oil pressure or egt would be more important for the third.
