Ok so a couple more questions, first will the apexi safc neo work with my ecu for safe running at 7+ psi? and also will evo injectors fit in my fuel rail like the wrx 440cc and if so would that be too much fuel dumping in with that little of psi?

You might look at the percentage difference between your stock injectors and the ones you want to run to determine if they'll be too big. The problem is, if you have to run really high (negative) numbers in adjustments on the S-AFC to get the car to run right. S-AFCs can't control timing, so when injectors get too big, you usually don't get enough advance which can cause problems on the big end of the tach.
FWIW on a DSM which comes stock with 440/450's, 660/680s are considered the biggest you can safely run with a S-AFC before timing gets too far out of whack. People either run a custom EEPROM chip or DSM/ECUlink which can "raise" the floor so to speak to keep timing in check.
If you have a better tuning option available, then bigger injectors would be a plus.

Ok so I think my injectors are only like 240cc?? and since i think the evos are around 550 maybe I will just stick with the 440 of a wrx, dont have any plans on a 350hp lancer es lol so I am thinking going with the smaller will save me some issues thanks GP I really appreciate the walkthrough as well instead of just a yes or no.

You can't run Evo injectors, as they are a different impedence. The WRX 440's are more than enough for the 7+psi you want to run. As for tuning with the SAFC, I wouldn't recommend it. Tuning for a turbo is more than just making sure your engine has more fuel. Look at the eManage or EcuFlash.

Ya I was leaning strongly toward the ecuflash too but was kind of detered after reading how zulu's tune went although 180hp is definately nothing to sneeze at. I guess I am just going have to make sure whoever tunes it knows the right ROMS or something like that I think lol. I have the program myself but need the cable but wouldnt know the first thing about changing the values so best not to mess with it myself lol. Also I was thinking that there was something different making the evo injectors non compatible otherwise you would think more people would be using those in there custom lancer turbo setups than subaru's

Wow I wasnt sure if 230 would be safe in our cars daily driven with those teeny rods but then again I have seen a couple running about that too. Prolly around 10 psi for 230 ya think? I cant wait till I gather all the parts for mine.

There's no exact science to the strength of our engines. Anything 230 and up is pretty dicey. I used to say that anything 200 and up was dangerous. Better tuning capabilities allowed that number to increase. Bottom line is that our motors put out 100hp from the factory to the wheels. By having 200hp+, you've doubled the power output of the motor, something the designers probably didn't count on.

Ha ha. You can't link from a drive, you have to upload to a service like photobucket.
