Turbo Problems
So I finished installing all the parts to my Turbo Kit and when I go an fire it up it revs all the way up and then shuts off. I try it again and does the same thing, but when I give it gas it just sputters and then dies. It seems like a vacuum leak or something since it can't keep an idle. I also just tried to throw on the SRI to see if it would work n/a and it does the same thing! WTF!?!?!
Mods:
t-25 Nissan Turbo
tubular mani
turbosmart wg with 7psi spring
custom downpipe with stock exhaust
metal evo IX bov
maf sits a little low but is facing straight
evo icp and intercooler
walbro 255
fmu
stock injectors (also have 460cc rx7 injectors but don't want it to be too rich)
ngk iridium IX
ported 4g93 IM
I desperately need some help since I've been at it since Wednesday. I was thinking it could be that I need a tune. idk

What kind of vacuum readings are you seeing at idle? What are your AFRs at idle? A vacuum leak or stuck open BOV might be the culprit.

Ummm... that's the thing, no gauges. I kind of hurried into installing this and now I'm paying the consequences.

Fuel or air. Did you check for "boost leaks". Which fmu do you have? Are you sure you have enough fuel pressure?

I'm not sure about the fuel pressure, i have no gauges yet.
I do have a walbro 255, vortech 12:1 fmu. How would I check for boost leaks with the car off?

Double-check for boost leaks at every coupler and connection.

But since I put it back to n/a (SRI) wouldn't it run with no problem?

Could be as simple as you're out of gas, but assuming that is out of the question, it sounds fuel related. Can you hear the Wally whine? What about your fuel filter? Can you rev the car at all or keep it running until idle? Or even with gas, it dies?
I would even suggest checking the ISC motor since it isnt idling. I doubt this is the problem tho because the car just isnt running.

Yea I would have to press the pedal to keep it running, when I touch it the revs spike up then drop instantly. It has half a tank of 91 and I can't really here the walbro run since I'm trying to here for knocking. I disconnected the fmu and tried without it and that didn't work.

um.. what is it rev'in up to while its trying to idle.. could be a fuel or ignition issue (mine sounded like ass untill we dialed the injectors in a little)
double check all your fluids and all your plugs/wire connections also, (your plugs need to be gapped to .030, if u have those NGK turbo spark plugs that are .044 plugs u need to regap them or use your stock plugs)
idling issues could be any (air/fuel or ignition) (check the gapping in all the plugs, that might be the issue)

I just bought the NGK Iridium IX plugs today and gapped them at .030.
I have a feeling it just needs to be tuned. Right when I turn it on it revs to 3500 or so and just drops and turns off.
