Im thinking about boosting soon and would like to know what other fuel pump could i use not being a walbro ?
Since the Wrx and sti injectors work would there fuel pumps work on our cars?

walbro fuel pump new is 100$.. u cant really beat that price, and its a good product.. u can find some used ones for about half that price off of evo owners. but i would still suggest new.

lol.. your more then likely looking at mine(lol).. and my car is gutted... its loud enough for someone to ask what that sound is.. but its not really noticeable when your driving.. unless u have a stock exhaust.. it is loud, just not nearly as bad when your driving just because of normal road noise or music or whatever else..

its like a little vacume cleaner going, just think of it in a good way.. atleast you know what the sound is..

It's loud when you're listening for it, but you get used to it... It's not as bad as some vids make it... If you have any music on in the car, you won't even hear it...

Well I'm catless and my exhaust is pretty quiet. I still hear it but it doesn't bother me.

thats my car from startup.. for about 2 miles up the the highway..
my exhaust is freaking loud, and you can normally hear the fuel pump its just not very noticeable once your driving.

you can hear the fuel pump the whole time (only the last pull is full throttle, rest is just me making noise going towards the interstate)

and at idle.. mines about just as loud outside the car as that other lancers. most people notice it and say my car sounds like a plane on the runway waiting to take off.

Just use a stock 2G GSX or Evo fuel pump and you'll be fine. There is no need to step up to the Walbro right away on low boost.
