well the "drag strip" im referring to is east wahington ave ine madison wi. its a nice long stretch of road that we "race on." its not the best but its good for a hoot. everyone around here usually "races" up to the speed limit and then backs off. there is a light at almost every block so it works out for me racin lights.
whats the point of speeding up to the speed limit real fast? idk but ive seen some pretty "quick" priuses!

Ah. I just re-read your post. You said "main drag." I thought a FWD Lancer was destroying everyone at an actual drag strip. LOL
I know you're kidding about Pruises. Very funny.

god i wish!
but id still have to say even if we are speeding up real quick to the speed limit, it can hold its own against the integras and civics. o and there is a real nice speed protoge runnin around there too thats pretty quick.
now its just to the point i need to really start tunig with the fuel maps and timing to get everything perfect. i know a guy in the area who has a dyno that he said i can use. at least the i can really really start tinkerin with stuff!

so ive been wonderin ad from what ive been told i dont believe too much.
im lookin to get a new upper pipe for my lancer cuz once i put in the 4 440's i will have a nice hole in my pipe. cant seem to find any ic straight pipe in the midwest so i have to go outside of that.
so my question is.....
can you bend ic pipe with a mandrel bender (which is what i think) or will it kink during the bend (one of my local shops is telling me that)?
i dont see why you wouldnt be able. or am i thinking too hard into this?
....and no i havent had time to work on the mani. been workin at work and im waitin on my gasket to come in from work.

messin around with ecu flash here and i was wondering does anyone know the "exact" size of the 440 wrx injector?
i noticed from when i pulled my rom from my ecu earlier that it says "232" for the injector scaling. is that actually a 230 then or is it higher/lower than that?
new upper ic pipe will be ordered monday and whenever it is recieved it will goto the shop and be mandrel bent!
and my 5th injector setup is still for sale:
RRM additional injector controller w/ injector for turbo system

thanks senate. that should help alot.
i ws digging around my basement and i came across and old piece of my old CAI, and thought that it would work for my upper pipe since i want to get a new one to replace the ld one with the bung in it for the 5th injector. it ALMOST worked. it was a 2.75" pipe when my entire ic system is 2.5" and the 90 degree bend was a hair too tall.
so now for sure my straight pipe will get ordered tomorrow.
