Splicing headlight harness

Due UK laws I need to swap my parking lights for my turn signals and I plan on doing so by splicing both positive wires and swapping them. I "don't" think it will cause any polarity issues but I just want to get a second opinon.

Does anyone see this causing any issues? I have attatched a pic for example.
