Question VIII suede clean

has anyone been able to get the suede to look like new agen after it starts to flaten out and turn into some sort of leather? can you brush it out without it turning white? is there a kit or something or specific things needed? please help

I was going to try and use shoe suede cleaner on a little spot and see how that goes.
