Drives: fast 4 banger

Electrical/Charging/Short issue tell me what you think

After looking at the search, and reading 10 + threads with people having simmlar issues, Im trying to look a little deeper.Friends evo is having some issues....

Battery light, and Brake light start to flicker while driving, dim to bright, the more you give it gas the more they stayed lit up.

Here is the difference from this to the others, The Voltage (via the apexi turbo timer is 14-15v while the car is running the whole time never drops under 13.8v. The car ran and drove fine with no issues for 45mins + and did not die. but lights continued.

Haven't got back in the car yet since last night, but i have tested:
=Batt fuse 7.5 under the hood good
-Batt terminals tight clean and good newer battery within 3 months
-Dissconnected batt and re connected still nothing

The questions i have is does anyone have a better idea? wouldnt the car have died within 10 mins or less without the alt, charging the batt? or the other way around? i belive so i have thrown and alt belt on another car and within 2 mins it was dead.

Please give me your input.

Sorry to repost on an old thread, but i am having the same problem. Only difference is my voltage has spiked up to 17.5~ a couple of times and it is startinf to worry me.I would love to hear the fix for this. I have replaced my battery and fuses, got my alternator checked, and ran through the electrical gremlins from rain post( no corrosion, sealed now) any insight would be great, if not can always check every wire and ground i guess. thanks in advance.
