Question AEM uego reading lean???

when i turn on the car 000-999 in that sequence lights up. the gauge then displays some writing and then reads around 14.9 after about a minute or two 3 "- - -" display. as i drive the lines will still display and then start reading 15.0 and up. whats wrong wit my AEM uego? and when the car is at a complete standstill it just displays "- - -" with the light all the way in the red. can someone help me

Thats normal. When you let off the gas --- displays. WOT should be in the 12s and normal driving around 15. I don't think you have any problems at all.

At idle it shouldn't read lean though. Maybe you need a new sensor. You didn't happen to catch that how-to vid that Stephen Papadakis did on how to check if your sensor is bad?
