HKS VPC works with E-Manage

I tried all the talk boards looking for this info but couldn't find the answer. So I tried it myself on my EVO 1. Got the car running yesterday and It works like a charm. I see no reason why the vpc wont work on the EVO8. Although there is no harness available it is quite easy to hardwire to a car. Pretty much wires up like an AFC. For those who dont want the headache of standalone this is the way to go.

The ECU in the EVO 1 is not like a 1G or 2G DSM ECU. I used a VPC harness from an EVO 5 (I verified all the connections first so as not to fry my pecious EVO1 ecu) so I believe all the EVO ECUs are of the same family.

The VPC for those who dont know eliminates the mass meter. It does this with a temp sensor and 3 bar map. It then collects info from these sensors and converts to a karmann number that the ecu understands.

I have no wire diamgrams for my EVO 1. I had to reverse engineer where the wires go for both the e-manage and VPC. With a wire diagram for the EVO8 installing would be a snap.
