Drives: EVOLUTION VIII - project car

Re-setting the ECU...

Quick question for those that have had the system long enough to know...

For instance, let's just say that the battery to my car is disconnected for more than 15 seconds... Or for some reason the battery dies, and i have to jump... Does that erase the EManage and the EO-1 settings, if so that would suck....?

Just curious, because my SES light came on yesterday, and i wanted to try to clear it, before anything... See if it pops up...

Does the emanage have a function to read the SES Codes...?

No. The e-manage is self-supportive. Has memory that retains your settings. I have reset me ecu at least 5 times since I had the emanage and nothing has changed. Don't worry, GReddy thought of that when they made it

Oh, just saw the other question. No the e-manage cannot read SES codes, but you can go to Autozone, Pep Boys, or Advanced Auto and they will pull the code for you for free
