Lightbulb help with TurboXS RFL BOV

i bought the TurboXS RFL recently and i was expecting it to make the normal BOV sounds when it goes off.. instead it makes the other sound that sounds like a toy snake or something... i have a bunch of friends and half them say its supposed to make the regular BOV noise but louder cause of the RFL model.. and i have the other half saying that it is supposed to have the toy snake type noise... i had like 4 washers in there.. i took them all out and it was still making that noise... so when i went to get my boost controller installed the people at the shop put only 2 washers in there to get the boost up.... they didnt see anything wrong with the way it was installed... i have noticed that the spring it came with is super hard.. and doesnt bend much when u press it.. so we came to the conclusion so far that maybe its the spring??? i dont know im sry to bother yall with this... i just need to know the answer and a way to fix it if needed to be... thx

I had this same problem with my rsx. It makes a fluttering noise. i was told you must be running 10 lbs or boost or more for it to work. Dont know if that helps

I was told that too when getting a bov for my turbo crx, but i got it anyways and put it on and it works great. I was only running 8 pounds of boost too! I just bought another one to put on my evo so hope it works out ok.
