Re-set emanage?

Hey guys i got a question... is there anyway to reset the emanage to their is not any saved maps? I recently bought one used and i dont want to hook it up and have it blow my engine.

edit: anyone know where i can get a can another support cable?

Drives: 98 hyundai accent gsi now turbo

I found this to be a tough question as I was going to buy a "locked" unit that came with a turbo kit. From what I understand (not 100% though) If you hook it to the laptop it can be cleared using the reset feature (or whatever it is) and you will be left with no maps what so ever (fresh start).

It was a "locked unit" and u reset it? I could of saved $200 on my emanage if i knew for sure that worked lol

well mine had a map... but it wasnt locked... i just started a new one and sent it to the unit... i figured taht is all you would have to if it was locked as well?
