Drives: 2006 evo IX mr

wide band readings (compare please)

so on my stock IX mr ecu ,with cone filter 2.5 inch licp and running 1.42 bar i am getting readings of 10.1 to about 10.6 under full load. this seams to be a little on the rich side to me. nothing wrong with that but based on that i could get a few more psi out of the turbo to bring it up to 12.0 .

just curious as to what other members readings are with a stock ecu

You could add more boost, but it wont make you run leaner, unless you run enough boost to start to run out of fuel. A good thing to add now is a flash, and it will lean out your car, the right safe way.

theres to many factors that come to play... Is your car tuned any? Are you at stock boost levels? Dont just go turning up the boost to try and lean the are out. Reflash it, your tune may be out of wack w those mods

Adding boost will take you into higher load cells that are even richer.

you need a tune

i realize that a tune is needed, i am currently on the stock ecu set up. with my previous turbo cars i found i could fine tune the mixture with fuel preasure and boost to get a propper air fuel ratio.
. i guess the evo is a little more advanced than the previous cars in the stable.

that's incredible! I've heard the rumors that these cars run rich, but I can't believe they run 10.1 to 10.6 you could take a whole point of fuel out or a little less and make some easy power. No wonder a good tune makes such a difference.
