Need help on boosting.

Was thinking about getting a AEM TRU boost controller. And i need help on how much i should be boosting? How many pounds? Have not that many mods. HELP!!

You need to tune the computer to turn up boost. The car will eventually hit fuel cut just turning the boost up.

safely?...NO
Like roadspike said, you need to tune your ecu for the mods and boost level that you're running. By turning up the boost you're hitting higher load cell, requiring more fuel etc.
