smoke coming from under the exhaust manifold?

I have an evo 8 and jus switched out my valve cover. And on the old one it wasn't smoking. However switched it out plugged everything back in. After I start up the car its fine. Then about 20 seconds later smoke startys rising from under the exhaust manifold. Is this due to a leak? Or jus when u change them out it breaks it in and that's what the smokes from? If anyone has ideas or solutions plz lemme know

Need to look, likely had oil from the change drop on the manifold or downpipe

its probably just oil spilled on the manifold
