Wicked E send me a pm a minute ago and said he hasn't been able to get the cable from his friend...seems the paypal dispute got his attention and prompted a response. I can't count on him though so Turco please send me your paypal info and I'll send you payment and my shipping address. thanks!

Turco, payment sent for the cable, thanks again for getting me out of a jam, I owe you big time! If everything goes right I'll still be able to install the turbo this weekend and tune it.

Thanks for dragging my name through the mud...
I would not have been able to get the cable from my friend anyways as I was informed the car is in the shop for 2 weeks with the cable in it. Glad you were able to find one though.

Awesome thread Mellon, I see you picked up that tactrix cable that was for sale in the private forums which I was trying to get, lol. You need it way more than me though obviously.
I would be starting to log my car and tune it a bit but i bought an Evo with a slipping clutch<--my mistake, so I have to get that sorted first.
I was checking the evoscan.org page and the tactrix cable they have listed seems to be missing that small plug, is this normal? I want to buy one but can't find one of the 1.3 cables except for on evoscan.
Thanks

yeah now I have cables out the ying yang...
mr. turco's overnighted borrowed cable arrived a little while ago, thanks man!
evoscan.org cable arrived this morning of course, looks just like the tactrix cable
bought diviniti's cable today so I'll have a spare and never get into this situation where I can't log my own car or do business with locals again.
turco I'll try the evoscan cable this weekend and send yours back as long as it works.

I installed the new HTA68 turbo last night and did a few pulls...without touching the tune and running 29psi instead of 32.5psi DLL Dyno showed 608awhp and we called it a night since we were beat. I went out this morning and upped it to 32.5psi which only took 62% EBC duty cycle instead of 72% like the old turbo and it showed 617awhp with a slightly rich AFR.
I had to call it a day though, the transmission needs to be serviced finally, it's sounding worse and worse in 1st gear.

yep, a nice lil bump, as soon as I get the tranny fixed I'll get back out there and find the max power. I'm running without the honeycomb in the mas, had to adjust the injector scale but the driveability wasn't hurt at all! So no more worrying about sucking the honeycomb into the turbo and it probably reduced the inlet restrictions some. I'm no longer pegging the load at 380kpa..seeing ~ 365kpa at the same boost and making more power.
