P0202 code.... causes...??
we are trying to trace the cause of a p0202 code on our project EVO MR.... after building the head, and installing a clutch, we also threw in some 850cc injectors (down from 1000cc's)....
we are now getting a p0202 code.... which we are trying to find the source of. I have checked the wires in the bundle running over the valve cover and injectors, but have not found any chaffed wires etc...
i thought maybe we rubbed a wire somewhere during the head work....
we are running a utec... so im going to try running it without the utec installed, and see if maybe there is a problem between the ecu and utec (harness)...
we've had excellent luck with utec's in the past, so im pretty certain thats not the problem.
please let me know your thoughts. I appreciate the input guys.

well did some experimenting...
the car does not throw the fault with the utec out of the car..... using the stock ecu, the car obviously runs rich (it can still bring itself to 14.7 at idle).... with the 850's...
taking the utec to turboxs probably on thurs, to have them check it out. they are always helpful, so im sure we will get it rectified!

well,
we tune quite a few utecs (mostly on subies).... so i am quite familiar...
even with the scaling set to stock, and the utec set on zero, i see the code after idle-ng for a bit....
without it, its fine (aside of being rich)...
im also monitoring with a scanner and wideband....
anyway, headed down to see them thurs and have it checked out... im wondering if its a bad connection on the ecu to utec somewhere just on the #14 pin.

If the code stops when you dont have the utec in then it could be in the tuning.

forgot to mention, we knew what the code was... just curious if anyone has seen it before on the evo with a utec etc.....
thats why i was tracing the wiring off of the injectors clips first etc.
