I don't know if I am getting this yet but if I do, I would like to join as well. I am EST and don't usually get on till about 9pm, sometimes earlier. I do have 3 kids. LOL. I am also getting forza 2 this weekend from my nephew. So I may play that a bit. The Forza 3 demo was good though.

if you're gonna take it so seriously might as well play for money eh? collect 20 from each person, set up a schedule of 8 races, give out points per race, and then set up a prize structure. oh and stock cars would be so much more fun

I'd call that a definite maybe for any kind of proof. I'd have to see that kind of test with different power levels and the same gearing on the same car. And I still haven't seen the comp take a shift past the redline.

Sorry Sunday nite is currently impossible for me, so is Friday nights.

I think that if someone gets bumped we should all stop if we're going to to it that way, or just drive with ghosts to avoid any drama.
The bump rule specifically being proposed because of you In wheel to wheel racing you have to give the other drivers space and have to figure out how close you can get to them without hitting them. If you are riding someone's bumper into a braking zone and don't account for the differences in braking performance and either don't adjust your braking spot or don't take a different line then you are to partially responsible. Incidental contact is understandable but I've experienced cases where people just don't care. Just use common courtesy if you bump someone of the track and determine if you should conceed the position, thats all.

Just look at the way Paul, myself and Jeremy play. Sometimes that means taking the less than ideal line or swerving to avoid someone. Plus ghosting sucks and takes the challenge out of the races.

We're going for uber realism here so no brake lines or line of any sort. You don't see lines when you are on a real race track, so you won't see it on these races. It's upto the players to practise before the weekend, if they want to figure out the track.

We can do the points structure for those that are serious but collecting $20 from each will be hard. Trust me it's hard enough to get people to show up on the weekends. Most would be turned OFF if there was cash involved.

This weekends tracks are:

Road Atlanta 6 laps
Seabring full 6 laps
Laguna Seca 8 laps

Hope to see you guys on Xbox live, if I didn't put some of you on the list or didn't add you as a friend please feel free to add me as a friend on Xbox live.

Last weekend of Forza2 races before Forza3 graces us. From reading some of the reviews, it seems multiplayer is still limited to 8 peeps. Same time on Saturday @ 2pm CST, unless something else forces us to change the time.

This weekends tracks are:

New York 8 laps
Sunset Infield reverse 6 laps
Motegi 6 laps

My copy of Forza 3 still isn't here ... so hope you guys are able to meet up and get some races going ... I should hopefully have my copy by next week and be able to determine what rules to make up. Until then keep practising.

The MLR guys are starting a club on FM.net. I was in until I saw no EvoM love. Do I smell the beginning of a friendly rivalry? EvoM vs MLR would be sweet!
