Thats the website I got MW2 from. Oh wellz...
They say on there they because of him hacking the code on there to make copies of the game that Activision Blizzard would lose a ton of money...
But really, people that DL the game are going to love it and it'll make them want to go out and buy it even more. At least that is how I see it.

Depends.
I used to be a avid PC gamer (specifically the CoD series) and to see what IW is doing to the PC version is prettyyyy ****ty. Especially for the fact that the PC gamers are who made IW who they are now and made the beginning CoD such a huge success.
The apparent disappointment of removing dedicated servers which obviously yields lower performance ping wise and also provides the host a unfair advantage (0ms ping). Also means no modifications (user created maps, skins, etc) or clan servers for competition. Even if you have matches in a "private match" you can't even record anymore which I doubt will fly on the ladders.
But on top of that, they removed the ability to use console. This is mainly used for administrating a server, which obviously you can't do since it's P2P now, but also allowed other tweaks that are really important to a PC gamer. Also it's obvious that PC versions of games have to deal with lots of hackers/cheaters but now there is no way to kick these people.
They also removed leaning as well, something that has been in the CoD series on PC since the beginning. And since the servers are P2P, that means unlike CoD4 where you could have up to 64 players in a single match you now can only have a max of 18.
Like I said, I fell off from PC gaming a while ago so it really doesn't matter to me, but I know if I was still on it I would be extremely pissed and wouldn't even buy the game. People are going to pirate the **** out of it just to spite IW and be able to play single player at least. All of this crap AND they raised the price of the game to $60.
It's a good thing I just play 360 if I want to game and don't care about all the details like that anymore
