Official World of Warcraft Thread
We only had a thread dedicated to the open beta of WoW, so I figured for all the gaming dorks who plan on spending countless hours of their lives on this game, we should have a thread dedicated to it.
I was undecided on whether or not I was going to play, and never got into any of the beta tests, including the open beta (dail up sucks for downloading 2.5 gigs worth of game -_-). While I was in Reston this past week, I got a chance to play it on my friend, Phillip's, computer, and now I'm definitely getting it. I've been a big fan of the warcraft series all the way back from the original. After playing it, I'm happy with the direction that Blizzard is taking the franchise.

the final release is supposed to be 4 gigs.

i had my hunter up to 8th on test 20 before i had to leave to come home...i'm in withdrawal right now...

I'm thinkin of gettin this game I have ALL the warcraft games and ALL the expansion sets but I hate the idea of the monthly fee I know they need it to keep updating the game but still I wish it had an offline section to it so you could play on or offline (and avoid the fee if wanted)
Still haven't decited yet if I want to cough up the monthly money

i was undecided, but after playing it for a few hours, I could easily see coughing up the monthly fee. I have never payed to play, but WoW has earned its worth.
If you're undecided because of the fee, go find a friend on the open beta and play it for a little bit
