nah.. you're exactly right.. the car would've been out of my range, but my job has a VIP purchase program with Mitsu's... we get a certain amount under invoice and when we bring in the pricing sheet, the dealership can't bs around with fees, etc.

overall the buying experience was the quickest i'd ever experienced. from door to papers in about 30 minutes

I test drove a Sportback Ralliart to see what I thought of the SST. The first time I had to use the brakes I definitely pushed the clutch pedal in... unfortunately the clutch pedal was attached to the brake pedal that my right foot was already on...

End result: the salesman sitting next to me almost flew through the window

After I realized the brake pedal was a foot and a half wide and there was no clutch pedal because I'm test driving the SST to see if I liked it (ohhh yeahhh, that's right...) I said oops and then had no problems remembering it was an automatic

I was impressed with the Ralliart, but since it was raining I didn't get a chance to check out the hatch area and see the auto folding crap the guy was referring to.

I might look into the manual GTS one, but configured it at $23,500...

yeah.. couple k's too much imo... it's like seeing something at full price and thinking twice. then you see the same item on clearance and it's a no brainer
