It's what they used for the Dakar rally, using the Lancer as it's platform. Obviously, very loosely.

That's not actually a Lancer, it's a Montero Sport.
I was talking to an owner of a Mitsu dealer back when they had a big meet for us and he explained everything about the truck.

This Lancer is Diesel powered. It was supposed to be a new "green" movement in racing. The announced this car sometime last year.
