No i hope they dont....because then i would want one lol.
i think the chances are slim to none. if they do offer a 6spd it will prob be with the XI.

I've heard that many X owners do complain of the lack of a 6th gear, especially on hwy driving. If a 6 speed does come out, than it will show that Mitsu was listening to the X owners' main concerns. It would be a plus overall.

I was going to consider purchasing an evo x in march, however when I heard that the 5 spd does 3800rpm+ at 80mph I decided to wait for mitsu to release a 6spd (or at least until they announce whether they will).
If the 6 spd will come out any idea which year evo it will come out for?

You don't need six gears, what's needed is revised gear ratios. 5 speed allows beefier gears within the box.

the X has no reverse gear tho!!!. mitsu is ****ed up for not putting huge gears in to the X. my friends car does between 2000 and 2300 at 60.
and mitsu is gonna **** up 1st and 3rd gear w/o a reverse gear in that box
