i'm glad i bought a cheap A** IX.......first mitsu made the car slower, now they're pricing it out of most peoples range.....HOPEFULLY the OP is talking out of his @SS

I was only 17 years old while I was living there and I was working at the US Embassy in London on diplomatic duties and i was easily making 35k a year.

Don't forget that the US is all about capitalism. Corporate fat bellies thrive on cheap labor. And guess who is the cheap labor? EVERYONE working for the US who is an hourly wage person.

I remember tah mitsu stated that they screwe3d up the looks and performance of the 2000 eclipse to remove the "cool for street racing" image the brand got after fast and the furious.. They siad they waneted to reposition the eclips to older mature buyers..LOL we all know how that went.. So now by slowing the evo down but making it mre"luxurious " and expensive it looks like they are trying teh same thingagain... hmmm!? good luck to them with that.

Atleast I can be certain that a new mitsubishi is *NOT* in my future.

I'd rather grab a C6 or 1-Series for about the same price.

Guess what 3g was the best selling eclipse to date, not the fastest but they made money on it and most people are still yet to have any major problems with them.
