Price: $60,000 to $70,000 (est)
Tell me that is not US dollars, a mis-print or a JOKE!

If that is the case, I am not opting for the SST

its australian quid or whatever they call their currency. if you read the article it said the current price of an MR was about $56000. which is probably about 36 here. i have been hearing the new evo's will be getting alot closer to $40k here. basically they are going to be getting it priced out of the market for most "tuners" and shooting for more of a BMW type of wide market instead of an enthousiest market.

You'll probably be able to pick up an X MR for around $36,000 (6 months after the stealerships have their new model mark-up parties) if you avoid the big ticket options like the 30 gig NAVI/music storage, sun and sound pkg, etc., etc.
Then you'll be knocking on the door for $40 large.

for that kind of money, 0 to 60 times in the mid 5's is totally unacceptable. I dont give a flying F*** if its AYC makes it drive on one wheel at 2G's on the skidpad.
And that SST is nothing like the DSG if it cant out accelerate a manual.
Looks like the Subaru designers were bargining on the total retardedness of the Mistubishi engineers when the designed the STi

It is a DSG. Mitsu just may be staying honest and not tune the SST car differently which is what VW does.

they have limited the sst equipt models to save on drive train problems down the road. It will not be as agressive as it could be
