2008 vs 2009 Evolution X?
Hey everyone, I'm pretty new here, and have started stalking around the forums more since the announcement of the Evolution X..
anyways, I've been calling around and trying to contact dealers the last few days, and today I got rather confused. I was told by two separate dealers that while the 2008 Evolution X would be coming out in January, that they wouldn't be ordering it because the 2009 is coming out in March?
Does this make sense to anyone, has anyone else heard about this? If so, is there going to be any differences that people know of?

Wait, what about the '05s? Are you saying that the '04s were sold for 1/2 a year or 1.5 years?

idk, I think im going to head to the dealer after work and talk to them face to face to find out what the deal actually is. At first I thought maybe he thought I said "Lancer" and not "Lancer Evo", but I can specifically remmeber saying "Evo X".
Hopefully I can get some answers, because it seems kinda strange to only release a model in the US for 2 months...

Don't waste your time because the truth is they don't know. The car will be out in January. I wouldn't expect an 09 until the end of summer. Unless of course they just decide to badge the ones in Jan as 09. Either way, no point in talking to a dealer because they won't know either.

well, I went and talked to one of the reps, he had no clue about 09s, and his boss was busy, but at least I got my name on the list for as soon as they get more info in, and they took down what I was looking for (the grey/black MR SST ) , and would call me as soon as they got as much as a pamphlet in.
