EVO carbon fiber wing
How do you guys feel about the new carbon fiber spoiler that is on the IX? The carbon fiber doesn't extend all the way down anymore like the previous USDM evos. Only the airfoil is carbon fiber. I kinda have mixed feelings about it. And the rear bumper..............don't even get me started.

You didn't like the old one?
I can't see the difference in spoilers yet...
Looked again, it's the same.

I like them both, but I don't know which I like better......maybe the evo viii a little better.
If you look at the evo viii rear spoiler, the carbon fiber extends all the way down to the trunk. The red one is a evo viii MR.
The evo ix has the carbon fiber only towards the top of the spoiler (airfoil)
The silver one is the evo ix MR.
Take a look at both rear wings/spoilers closely.

I hate the evo IX's lack of carbon fiber on the spoiler! the evo VIII is better. and while im writing i might as well complain about the front bumper, where the mitsu emblem is, is an ok change, the bottom section of the bumper sucks ass! it looks cheap and my favorite part of the front of the VIII was looking at the two pipes coming from the intercooler, made it look mean!!! the XI bumper covers that part up with those stupid holes.

hmmm....i believe the inside of the tail is painted so it looks like only the foil is carbon fiber. I really liked the JDM evo 9 rear fender....it just looked different and plus it hard rear diffusers so it was more functional. Just my 2 cents

I'm wondering when they're going to debut that spoiler they use on the WRC cars. Maybe the Evo X? Makes you wonder when everyone talks about how cool and useful the wing on their Evo is, but on the race cars Mitsubishi uses something very strange-looking and not at all like the street car spoiler. Mitsubishi should get down to business, quit screwing around trying to make the car look cool and make it perform better.

I thought I read somewhere about the IX that the airfoil is adjustable. So if it is true and it is adjustable wouldn't it be better (durability) to have just the airfoil carbon fibre.

If you guys watch the Touch and Try video, it shows that the spoiler is if fully carbon fiber. The color keyed side panels go over the carbon fiber part.
