Hello guys...

Here is the issue, I installed a twin fuel pump setup last Saturday, did all the hoses and wiring... the secondary pump is set at HS3 to activate after I get 15 psi at about 4000rpm... did some test runs and everything seems to be working fine... Then after a couple of low speed test I noticed that while cruising around, when the car hit the 3500rpm it goes LEAN (like 20 AFR at my Innovate Wideband)... the car is in that lean condition from 3500 to 3800 rpm... and then is normal (before that and after that)... I haven't had the chance to Dyno tune it yet.. but the thing is that this lean condition appears just after the installation of the twin pump... why...?

Any help would be much appreciated..!!

Thanks,

I recently switched to the AEM EMS running on the stock MAF setup but have lost the base map that I had my car running on. The base map from AEM does not start my car either. This car is currently stock. Any help would be appreciated. All I need is a base cal to get my car running again. {thumbup}

Couple weeks ago at the track, I got a chance to play with my launch and 2step. If possible, I'd like to build boost without the loud mad-tight fireballs coming out of my tail pipe!:)

Someone here suggested raising the fuel and ignition cut and only use the retard rev for launching to avoid the backfires. I set my AEM 2step to this:

2step Fuel Cut: 7600
2step Ign Cut: 7500
2step Retard Rev:6100

Tried it out and sure enough, no backfires and I could easily build large amounts of boost with this setting and quickly found I was spinning all 4 tires during the next couple test launches. This also makes the car pretty stealthy sitting on the line and draws WAY less attention "if" you were at a stop light and did this.

I know retarding the timing to build boost will quickly increase EGT's but the total time during for this is maybe 3-4 seconds max. Is there any reason to enable fuel or ignition cut during a launch?

Anyone else launching like this?

I will mount an AEM on a Evo VII 1313 and I need to know how to do the timming setup and TPS, as is done?

I need to know also, that use of the base map that brings the CD, brings more to the 1313 but not which one to use.

Greetings and thanks

I'm going to setup Jake's NLTS using the rally anti-lag tonight but I wanted to get some opinions on these values.
