What do you think of this idea? The engine would definitely be louder and get more air.

Would the EVO intake scoop fit to our stock airbox on the GTS?

I hear they're hard to come by, does anyone know where I can find one?

Also, looking the powerband chart from the stickied faq, the torque at 2k rpm doesn't seem right.. I mean the car idles at about 900 -1k, so I figure there's more torque between 1 - 2k rpm than zero (I'm interested in the 1.5k - 3k rpm range because that's where low bsfc #'s lie for many cars, given the proper load)

I can't seem to find another torque graph for a stock 4g94 engine either to compare.

anyone know?

well guys after having the piggyback installed for a week on my 05 auto lancer ES im gonna give you guys a review. Well first off this was the easist thing i installed on my car, i basically have very little car modding and electrical background and i got it installed in less than 30 minutes. Its just simple connecting wires and such. Well after i was done installing it i let my car idle for 10 minutes and it worked fine no CEL came on, noting it was perfect. After that i drove it around town not getting to crazy with it but just driving normal making sure to change between RPM's. As many say that after you install the piggyback you have to wait a few days to actually get on it but i just waited 2 and damn was it worth it. The fisrt time i actually got on it, it wasnt all that but i felt a difference, thats just because the ECU was still learning. But now a week later, i am shocked!!!!!! the car is SOOOO much faster and responseive. I cant keep my foot of the throttle, in my opinion my car feels like it has a very TINY turbo because i actually feel some G force:D:D and all i got on my car is a K&N intake and a custom exhaust, and a throttle body that should arrive soon and i cant wait to see how much faster thats gonna be. I think every NA lancer owner should invest in this product, its worth the money and gives more power and HP to the car than any other bolt on{thumbup} I mean the torque in my car is awesome i get way better longer burn outs. I love you RRM thanks for this awesome product!!!!!!!! {thumbup}:D{thumbup}:D now if i can only get my throttle body already...haha

I live in a gay county where they are strict about mufflers so I am trying to do other things to make my exhaust louder. Any advice would be appreciated.

never seen these in person but i am definitely interested, the ebay kit does not come with ballasts i think the total price for hid kit + projector lenses is about 150 shipped maybe 175

edit

for those concerned once the projector is installed you can easily take the bulb out without doing this every time
