Picked up the car a few months ago! was all stock when i got it down in California






Went to dyno after for the base map, was running a little problem with the boost only 11 PSI/1.1 Bar - 190whp :crap:

Also Installed the T1-R Test Pipe for Evolution IX - More Flow! (Exhaust is not here yet) {thumbdwn}

The tires are nitrogen filled, and the TPMS went on the other night so I checked all the tires. I noticed on two of the tires the valve stem has a red rubber part inside, and on the other two it does not...don't understand why that is. I have tried to inflate the tires that are low, but they won't accept air and the pressure gauge goes beserk way past the '35psi' which is apparently the recommended value for this car. But until I discuss things with Jose this is how its stands. My car is @ 9 months, 12400 km, so I'm onto service number 3 as per the manual following time.

For my first service, I go to Markham Mitsubishi despite the reviews - alright 30 bucks for labour etc, and I provided the oil
For my second service, I go to Scarborough Mitsubishi - I got tire rotation some inspections done and my oil change and I pay about 70 bucks
Now for my Third service, I don't go in personally, but my dad does. So I called in and scheduled Oil Change, Fuel Crack recall, AWC reflash, and something to do with rattling in the doors all which have documentation online. So when my dad goes in for the oil change, the guy tells him it will be 130 bucks for the service as the Ralliart has "special oil change procedures". I don't know if my car has transformed in the last 3 months, but the car is nothing close to being a "special" car. I have no idea what this 130 dollar service entails even when I'm providing the oil. I have tried to call Jose, but he was busy so the reception will have him call me back. Until then it is all a mystery. Oh yah, I told my dad not to bother with the oil change and get the other stuff done. Any other Ralliart owners know whats up? Any of them go to this ****hole?

budget is tight so i thought, maybe i can use stock MR BBS and then switch it back for summer. the parts manager at mitsu dealership advised me that switching rims like that on the stock advans multiple times is not a good idea and might damage the tire after 2 years (4 switches)

so now what? do i buy cheapo rims for my winter tires or use BBS and buy nice rims for the stock advans? advans already seen 6 months of driving so buying expensive ($200+) rims for tires that will last maybe another 2 years seem wasteful. and when i do get new tires i want 255 or 265 so the expensive rims i buy for my stock 245 tires will be worthless :(

wut to do? ideally i just want to keep reusing the BBS for at least this winter and next summer. i'm looking at the hankook icebear w300 245/40/18 for my winter tire. switching rims likely to damage those too?

This time I installed :

T1R intake + HKS Kansai box
T1R IC pipes
T1R 90R cat-back
T1R TP + O2 housing
T1R exhaust manifold (45mm)
Cobb AP + AJR Custom tune
Stock spark plugs
Boost peak 25~25.8psi tapered to 18psi
AFR : 10.8~11.3:1
All dyno numbers : SAE Corrected




Red line : bone stock
Blue line : T1R exhaust + custom tune


Here's the break down in numbers for the dyno :

I just redid the entire exhaust system last week...cat, flexpipe and all three O2 sensors, and added premium gas to help it pass the emisions' test. Any opinions on what may have caused this?
