the subwoofer in my daily sounds good for a few seconds then it fades out almost completely, leaving me with no bass.. even at lower levels with a moderate amount of bass (not sub +6 bass +6) anyone know if this is because its suffocating, lack of power, or just a crappy sub? its annoying as crap

thanks

*BTW my settings are sub punch +3 bass +4 if its any consultation

Factory stereo - MP3s and Random mode Question

On the factory stereo, if I put in an MP3 CD, and select random mode, does anyone know of a way to skip to the next *random* song? When I use the advance track buttons (forwards generally), instead of randomly selecting another song it actually goes to the next track on the disc (i.e. in order).

On the factory stereo, if I put in an MP3 CD, and select random mode, does anyone know of a way to skip to the next *random* song? When I use the advance track buttons (forwards generally), instead of randomly selecting another song it actually goes to the next track on the disc (i.e. in order).

So basically it seems random/shuffle mode is only useful if you want to listen to every song, in entirety, on the disc.

Am I missing something here? Does anyone know more?

We finished the installation of my Z110BT yesterday. It was the first Evo X my installer had seen, so I was grateful I'd done some research ahead of time, and had brought my computer with me.

We had everything wired up and were programming the PAC unit when we hit a snag. When you pressed either the preset up or voice control button on the steering wheel, the head unit would power down, and the factory bluetooth prompts would chime in over the speakers. At least it was an indication that the MITO-02 was working...

In the end, we disconnected the wiring harness from the factory bluetooth controller box. This is located above the glove compartment in the dash... this thread illustrates it pretty well... http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-x-h...evo-x-gsr.html

Hope this helps someone reduce the potential frustration of a new HU install.

i found this on a couple of lancer forums and thought it was interesting there is still questioning about it and more information on how legit to come but its a nice alternative to the oem verison that coulod cost up to 2,000 if bought seperate from the dealer, and with this unit you dont lose the steering wheel controls and bluetooth that the 2010 evos have and i believe the 08 mrs have. so i hope this wasnt posted couldnt find it and hope it helps any1

I was torn between this and the DNX9140, but when I play around with the Kenwood, I don't like the feel of the interface, and think it would irritate me sooner than later.
