why carbon? it just fills in with the BLACK bumper. im just waiting for someone to make a brush aluminum. so that i dont have to spend $300 for an HKS one*hint hint*

well the thing with making heat sheild out of metals is that they transfer heat more readily than does carbon, so you might have a problem with the metal melting the bumper since it would get so hot 
why HKS does it I have no idea haha, maybe they found a way around that
