Look similar but not the same. We have to revised quite a few parts on the lip to make it fit US bumpers.

Notice on the Rexspeed pictures, the black grill wasn't install. That's a major issue because the lip will not sit flush without some extensive modification.

The original Varis lip doesn't fit on USDM bumper because of the same reason.

We have since make the necessary modification and now it's perfect fit on US bumper.

We will have 20 pieces, revised to fit US Spec bumpers.

i didnt know there were differences in other evo x bumpers, werent they all the same?

yes carbon fiber 2x2 weave. 20 pieces coming, first 10 deposit get it $50 cheaper

it comes with most of the holes already predrilled. But a couple of the side need to be drilled, not a big deal though.

The grill section has a slight differences in the angle, bend differently. The original Varis lip required extensive modification before it can be install in US EVOX.

if you look at the Rexpeed post, the EVO X lip were installed on a bumper without the grill (black piece). Because of the grill, the lip doesn't sit flush. Extensive modification to the lip to clear the grill are required.

That's what happen to the first sample lip we have. Since then, we have make the necessary modification to our mold and now all our lips will be revised to clear the grill. We only test them on the US EVO X, haven't get a chance to test on the JDM EVO X yet.

We have a chance to look at the JUN lip , which has a similar problem, but on the JUN version, the grill section has a different bend so it clear the grill area only slightly touches the lip, thus not alot of modification are required.

The Varis version has a totally different bend which required extension modification to the grill section before it can be install.

Our lip which was a revised VARIS lip will clear the grill w/o any modification. That's why we have a few weeks delays for the first shipment of the lip.

no, but if you have the aero package, the lip need to be remove first.
