Buying an Evo

Im looking to get into the evo world. Trying to buy an 03 or 04 white or black. is there anything i need to look out isnt it the first year with the engine body ect? Thanks

Check the bolts in the engine bay (valve cover, exhaust manifold, fender, etc). You can probably tell by the wear of the bolts whether there was alot of mods done based on that. That's all I observed when I saw other people check out cars at shops. But I'm not exactly sure what you're asking so ...
