Going to see an IX SE Monday Advice
I went to the dealer and they have a Silver Evo IX SE in silver with 13,700 mi. They were asking me for 30k and I got it down to 28k (financing NOT included.) However I'm not too sure that it's a good deal. What do you guys say? I can't get an accurate blue book value because they don't have SE model as an option. I am going back on Monday to buy or get my deposit back.
Any advice is appreicated
Thanks

Just to clarify it's 28k the 3k down is included in that so 28k total.

I got my brand new GSR for 28 with 3 miles (at South Coast of coarse). I think, thats a bit too much even being a SE! You should try to get that lower for sure like.............26 at the most!!

like the above posters said, pretty sure you can get a brand new X for 28, but if its a used IX, sounds a little much

Got my IX SSL GSR for 20k it has double the mileage yours has. When I was looking.....you could score a low mileage IX MR SE for 23,500-26,000.
28 is waayyyyy too much

Negotiate them down further, if they won't budge, walk away and come back in a month b/c at that price it surely won't sell anytime soon. Plenty of nice Evo's for sale on this board at reasonable prices though if you're willing to travel a bit. In November 2007 I got my IX GSR with 10k miles for $25,900 from a member on here, I just had to travel a few states over and it turned out to be a great roadtrip weekend

28 is way too much! everyone above has very valid points. shop around a little and get a good deal. the best thing when buying a car is patients. there is always a deal out there. you just have to wait so that you can be the person at the right place and time to take advantage of it.
...i know waiting is hard though! haha
