I passed smog with flying color with the BC 272 cams, including the stock cat and tune, I was thinking of gettin another set of cams with more lift and seeing if that would pass or not

i guy here just passed smog. mods are minimal....Reese Tune, BC 272 cams, exhaust, DP, stock cat put back on. OH, an AEM intake also. passed no problem.

I heard someone passed with similar mods as you (more aggressive cams) but he was on e-85.. I think 264's shouldn't be a problem. I'm on 264's ... the only thing I need to do is put the cat back on, from what I heard anyway.

I would make sure you get a good tune and throw on the stock cat because it works very well in keepin the bad to minimal, I had a bunch of stuff on my car and passed with like 9ppm HC and I think the max was like 50 lol
like I said flying colors, all I did was throw on my cat when I went and smogged and I was outter there in no time. oh yeah carb numbers help with the visual and stealth parts are a plus too
