That's a bummer. However, the guy I spoke to on the phone was ready to sell it to me at that rate. He sounded about as young as me, so I'd imagine he was fairly new and made some kind of mistake.
I was skeptical at first, and even told him. He checked with some superior or whatever and he too said that was the rate. I cannot really see how he'd make a mistake even with the VIN of the car I am looking at. Do you think its possible that the $138 was the real rate? Mind you, this is full coverage. He checked a few times, and the only car he could find was Mitsubishi Lancer in the system.
Oh well, minor set back if they jack it up. heh

I'll log onto Progressive later and check. Which model year were you getting a quote for? I remember when the '08s came out, the Evos didn't show up on the rating software for several months, like the Ralliarts.

The only problem is most of you guys with cheap monthly payments don't live in high risk cities. Like, NYC or any other major city for that matter. I'm 23, married, with a 10 evo mr and i pay 220/mo even tho i have a flawless record no speeding tickets or accidents. btw, the insurance company is esurance.

I was quoted on a 2006 Evo 9. I'll be so happy if his quote was accurate.

anybody know where i can get cheap insurance? it really dont matter if insurance company has bad reputation. My car is stored in storage and will not be move.
Cheapest insurance I got was $50 month from USAA(full coverage including comprehension and collision)
I'm stationed in Korea and my car will not move for long time(atleast 2 years). My parents are telling me I need full coverage insurance because my car is financed.
Man thats waste of 600 per year that could go into my mod money.
