Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go in looking for the monthly payments.

Purchase price is the *only* thing you should be concerned with at the dealer.

You will get a better loan from a Credit Union/Bank/Capital One, and you can worry about the payments there.

My payments are $469.70 on my '06 SE, but my score is substantially higher than yours. I finanaced $22,000 for 60 months (I'm paying it in full in January anyway) though, so if you are carrying less that, your payments might end up in the same range. I wouldn't suggest a 60 month loan though.

if you finance an MR at MSRP you are gonna pay $41,200 and paying around $520 a month for 60 months. if you get a GSR at MSRP your are going to do about $35,380 and you will be paying around $423 per month for 60 months. And Rs will cost you if you pay MSRP $32,800 and you will pay $380 per month for 60 months.

MSRP prices
MR $36,299
IX $31,399
RS $29,149

I just went and test drove a white IX on saturday, not even an SE and they gave me $1,300 off of the sticker which brings it down to around $31,200. So I'm putting $4,000 down and trading in my car which they're giving me $6,000 for. That brings the price to around $21,200. The sales manager is telling me that my payments are going to be $520/month for 60 months!!! That comes out to $31,000!!! I laughed and said thats not possible and he's telling me he can't get it any lower. I have a credit score of 717 and he's trying to give me 9.55% interest. So that means he's probably holding 3 points on me in interest. I laughed in his face and said I'll get my own financing, thanked him for his time and left. So take it from me, don't ever shop for a payment range on a car or you will get f%#$ed!!

if you want to know what your monthly is going to be, go to your bank's website and punch in the amount of the loan you need.
