Factory Warranty

I was wondering what sorts of mods will void the US lancer's factory warranty. I ran a search and couldn't really find exactly what I was looking for except that aftermarket ECU's void the warranty. I was thinking more along the lines of exhaust components and intake??

I want to mod all I can without voiding the warranty.

Help

In most cases modifications will only cause problems w/ the warranty if the problem can be directly linked to the modification you've implimented. Dealers on the other hand can be quite stringent and give owners a big headache for even the smallest modification.

Your best bet is to talk to your local dealer's service departments to find out what they'll let pass. If you do end up needing warranty work they'll either need to accept them or argue it out.

As for exhaust and intake specifically, I wouldn't worry too much about these two modifications impacting you that much. If anything you can just swap it back to stock before a warranty claim.
