Talking New Evo Advanced Section

Hey Everyone,

As promised, the new Evo Advanced section is now on the site:

http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-advanced-159/

Please make sure to read the strict guidelines before posting in this section. This area of the site will be heavily moderated so please think twice before you post.

A similar section is in the works for the Lancer sections.

Great idea

quick question as there are bound to be "what is appropriate for these forum" questions

To me the brakes and suspension forum seems like it may overlap with the motorsports forum as people tend to ask technical questions there.

The suspension topics that usually go on in the motorsports section are for track setup and not street. Also with other motorsports topics going on, sometimes the important stuff gets lost. The goal for the suspension and brake section within the advanced forum is to talk about all setups including street and track.

Good idea and bad idea.

It's like the 'search feature', no matter how much you tell people they'll still ignore it and post the same question. I can see alot of people either getting ban, made fun of or yell at for posting non-advance topics or same/similar topics.

I guess the main problem is people don't know how to read or listen, they just want to post, post, post.

True, but the rules are there in pretty plain sight. The moderators of that section will be more aggressive with cleaning, and if we have problems with it there could be posting restrictions. Hopefully that'll never have to happen.
