Taking the extra weight into account this probably would not be a good idea even in the streets.
Every time you hear that you can't use these brakes on the track that means it's a downgrade. I'm almost positive these can be dangerous for daily driving with the overweight Evo X.

That is not the case at all and those are some really serious assumptions to be posted publicly without proof. These have been tested for years on the VIII and IX. Based on your theory if you have a car full of people then the stock brakes are not safe for the street.
This kit has all the initial bite and stopping power of the stock brakes and can very EASILY and SAFELY be daily drivable. The only place where these brakes are not going to work as well is in areas where the brakes are given consistent and prolonged periods of heat. What a road course does to your brakes is simply BRUTAL. You are talking about 20 STRAIGHT minutes of Wide open throttle driving and HARD braking. Even the stock brakes on the stock pads can barely keep up with a single track day.
Mark Daddio (AMS TA1 Driver) and others run this kit on their Autocross cars where weight and strong braking are needed but the course is short so not enough heat can build up in them to cause fade.
Again, this kit is without a doubt safe for any street car.
