Tire noise when losing traction

I have a question for the tire experts. I'm currently running Yokohama AD08r's. They are great tires. Had the regular 08's prior. They are usually pretty quiet even when sliding a little but I noticed after my third track day they started making a loud sound when losing grip.

Turn 2 at big willow is where I noticed it. I usually take it about 95 to 100 and no sound. Then on about the second session of my third track day I heard all this screeching sound. At first I looked around thinking somebody was crazy enough to pass me there and it was their tires. But as I exited the turn I realized it was my outside left tire sliding and I caught it an inch before it went off into the dirt.

So is this just from the tires going through the heat cycles? Or maybe it's just me pushing harder now since I have a lot more confidence?

Tires still have plenty of tread. They are only a few months old.

Thanks.

Thanks.
Yes! Congratulations. Burn them up. You are likely finally getting them hot enough and fast enough to get them talking.

If anyone understands the underlying physics of tire-squeal, I'd love to learn about it.

Sounds like they are getting heated up in the corners and becoming a bit greasy, then sliding around.
