How in the hell do i get that off? Is it possible to try to get it to crack by drilling it?

you can try hammering a socket onto what is left of the nut....it will probably ruin the socket though.

another idea is to use a drill or dremel to just cut away the lugnut and lug stud, and just replace the stud. its a lot cheaper than risking damaging the wheels!

drilling the stud might be the only way

get one of these http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....&group_ID=1652

OR

Get a shop to weld on a lug nut to your broken one and back it off with and impact gun... Or whatever else the tire shop of choice chooses to do (prolly cost anywhere from $50-120)

Hope I helped

EDIT

Upon further inspection of your picture, you look like your screwed man. That's really broken off far in there.

Dude, I did the same thing. The dealership uses an air wrench on those wheels and goes to town. Even after I told them what happened they did it again.
I do my own rotations now, and plan to check the nuts in the parking lot after next tire change, if they are too tight I will make them come loosen them back up and tighten by hand. I actually broke a locker and the locker key. I went to several shops that couldnt do it, and considered the 200 snapon tool (which wont work for you judging by the pics.) Your best bet...just go to the dealer, if they mess up a wheel they may actually fix it. I took a dremel and cut grooves, and then took a chisel and split the nut. But, the chisel bouncing off the nut scarred the wheel a bit. BTW, your in for another treat if you try to change your own oil filter after the dealer. They must torque it until it starts to scream.

You will have to drill out the stud. I dont think the lug nut extractors will get a good enough grip to pull it out.

This happend to me before. I had 2 broken lugs

it was some cheap lugs i picked up at advanced auto parts to hold me up until my others came in.

What exactly do you mean by drilling out the stud? are tire shops familiar with this? I guess i need to get another stud before i go to the shop right? where can i get one?

also i should be ok to drive 5-10 miles to a shop right?

damn that's a lot of questions lol

I never had this issue with Gorilla lug nuts.

I guess that's what you can expect from Autozone.

+1

I had gorilla from discount tire and they worked great for at least 5 years on my old car.

Yea W T F is that? It took me two screwdrivers drivin trhough the filter, and me and my friend grabing two sides apiece to rip that B^%@! loose. and it nearly ripped in half before it came loose. idk what their deal is, but that was BAD.

Yes, just don't race Hondas. And the torgue for the wheels is 72 ft-lb, + / - 5 ft-lb. Always tell the wheel shop exactly what you want and insist they do it according to you wishes.

did it break when you tried taking it off? because if it broke while they were tightening it, its their responsibility
