ce28n 18x9.5+22
I have searched all over looking for an X with ce28n +22 18x9.5 lowered and just cant find what in looking for. I really love the ce28n 10.5 these guys are running just not sure i want to do all the fender work. I would be running 275/35/18 tires and would help if the cars posted had the same size tires. Any help would be great.
Thanks

That is actually Chebosto's thread but, to answer your question, I would run a 265/40/18 or 265/35/18. If you go wider than that then you start getting into rubbing territory.

265/40 is definitely the way to go.

i am probably going to run 265/35 all the way around... (havent decided on brand yet.. maybe Toyo R1Rs or Nitto NT05.. or....) i'll be lowered on Kw V3s.. should have some picts up soon
http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
the 265/35/18 is 1.619% too fast
the 265/40/18 is 2.456% too slow
the 275/35/18 is 0.543% too fast (but might have rubbing issues, so i've heard)
i plan on shaving / rolling the fenders

Personally, I like the look of more rubber (this the 40 series tires). The argument could be made that 35 series will offer better cornering capabilities due to sidewall flex with larger rubber...

I woould not go the 265 40 18 route. Check out my recent thread :
What tires to get
look at the last pic I posted, there is barely enough room in there with a 265 35 18 setup. My wheels are the same size spec as what you are looking for in the Volks (18 9.5 +22).

the 275 35 18 is actually identical to the 245 40 18 in terms of radius and as a result circumference, but it is likely to rub because of the increased width. If you take the picture I posted for reference, and increased the width of the tire by 1 cm on each side (inside & outside), assuming you'll get similar tires, it WILL rub. I am running the RE-11 265 35 18 and it is supposed to run narrow in comparison to other tires, and even then, Iam so close to the inner fender surfaces.
I guess, if you are okay with a little bit of rubbing or if you are gonna get some fender work done, then you can go ahead with your choice of size, otherwise, do not go beyond 265 35 18.
