Drives: PB EVO X ( HEAVY AS HELL)

Enkei Rpf1 18x8.5 +30

Does anyone run these? I would like to see some pix of this wheel in this size? Everyone keeps telling me me they are to conservative for the evo X? On the other hand some people say you have to roll your fenders to get the 18x9.5 +15 on (i dont want to roll my fenders).

So i guess i just wanna see how "BAD" the 18x8.5 +30's look , are they more conservative than the Stockers?

Do not say agg. It make you sound like an idiot. This isn't 2005, and this isn't a paintball forum.

You don't want wheels the stock width. Get some 18x9.5's with a better offset to give your car a better stance.

My car is lowered on Stance GR+ PRO SS-D's and I have no trouble running 18x9.5 with 245/40-18's (stock tire size). You will not have to roll your fenders with this setup.

Sorry for digging up an old thread but do you have pics of these installed?

Better yet, anyone with a RR have them installed? SBC, Silver or gold?

Thx

First off, there's no need to be rude to that guy when he's just trying to be helpful. Second off, why in the world are you running a 245/40 on a 9.5 in wide wheel? You ought to be able to run a 265/35 without running into rubbing issues easily unless you are running a poorly chosen offset. This has been thoroughly proven, so why you would go that conservative is beyond me. Hell, you can even fit a 275/35 without having to roll the fenders if you run enough camber. With the setup you are running now, all you did was add unnecessary weight for the sake of a more aggressive "look." If you're going to incur the drawbacks of something, at least reap the benefits.

for the white Evo above pictured with 18 x 10.5 + 15 offset, what tire size are you running and did you have to roll the fenders to get them to fit?

I know this is a noob question, but if you went with 18 x 9.5 +35 mm offset for RPF1's, and ran 265 35 18's, I know they would not be "flush" and "aggressive" with the wheelwell, but since the offset is closer to the stock 38mm would the X actually handle better than if it had 15mm offset?

I'm not sure how "camber kits" would help if you used an aggressive 15mm offset. Thanks.

if you go 18x9.5 ET35 it would retain the natural balance of the car better than the ET15 offset....but the enkei rpf1 in ET35 will NOT clear our front brake calipers without spacers...so that is out of the equation
