Volk CE28 +28 or +22?

I currently have a set of 18x8.5 Volk CE28 in +28 on my X. These are ideal for the 8/9 but too small for the X. I'm planning to sell the wheels I have and replace them with 18x9.5's.

The question is should I get them in +28 or +22? I will run 265/35s on Works lowering springs. I want to run street alignment/camber specs. I've followed a lot of threads on fitment and there seems to be conflicting info.

I hate to spend $1000-1500 (after selling my existing wheels for a marginal difference in stance which is what I'm affraid I'll get if I go for the +28s.

Many people have the +22 offset with 265 tires, in fact it's the most common combo if you do the research.

With the Works springs at .9" drop you will have a lot of negative camber, nothing you can do about it, but it will help the fitment.

I have the same springs and have 15mm spacers on stock rims. This gives me a +23 offset with no problems, but I have the stock 245 tires.

If you encounter rubbing you can always roll the fenders or add more negative camber.

You should be perfectly fine with 18x9.5 +22 with 265/35 tires. This is the most common setup for Volks on Xs that are trying to avoid modifying the fenders.

Volk doesn't make the CE28 in a 10". They do have an 18x10.5 with +18 offset or 19x10.5 with +22.

I don't want to run camber. The car was aligned back to stock camber specs after the installation of the Works springs. I don't mind a little fender messaging if needed. The 19's are about $100 more per wheel. The tires are about $100 per set more so I'd be spending another $500 to go 19x10.5 but I'm sure I'd notice a difference.

Just not sure about the comfort level of the 265 or 275-30x19 tires.

That's why you go with the 18x10.5 so you can run 275/235 tires.

18" has the illusion of more concavity than the 19", too. My set will be coming in August. flat black ce28 18x10.5 +18, just like Ryan Gates'. It's pure sex.

The car is white and I really like the CE28Ns in Gun Metal that I have now. I think it's a good color combination with the white car. I will probably order the new ones in the same color.

I wish they made a 18 x 10" +22 so I could run 265's and not worry about fender rolling, etc.

Thanks for the feedback.
