All I have is the paypal info, and he's been cooperating to the fullest, send several faxes and everything except for refund. fedex just keeps screwing around. I'm going to try writing a letter to the ceo of fedex or some person high up in charge of shipping. I'm not just going to eat a 800 loss when it wasn't in anyway my fault!

Whoever posted the for sale thread has some sort of liability. The "posted for a friend" argument is total BS. So the original poster hasn't provided you with all the true seller's information yet?

Damn the seller made off with 1200 bucks for a cheap set of rims. Is that guy related to Madoff in anyway?

Update.....seller, has sent the 450 to my paypal account. Says that he'll be sending the rest when he gets it. Hopefully the letter that we're writing to Fedex helps. Both of us have FEDEX business account, not sure if that's going to help.

That sounds extremely dangerous. He basically just took the money someone else paid for the wheels and gave it to you. To me, what that implies is the guys is essentially broken and you're not going to see the rest of it.

This has gone on way too long. I would have filed a chargeback weeks ago an been done with it. Let the seller worry about dealing with FedEx and the consequences of poor packaging. It sucks that you have to deal with this.

It sucks that this happened to you, but at least the seller is working with you on trying to get everything resolved. Hopefully everything will work out for the best and you can get some nice lookin' wheels Just stay optimistic

I actually talked to him on a local forum up there, his story jived with JSR's. I found out I've got some mutual friends with him, and it would be quite out of character of him to try and screw someone intentionally.

I'd expect his full cooperation on this.
