For those people saying to" refuse them".

I CANT.....I DIDN'T SIGN FOR THEM, THEY WERE IN MY YARD JUST AS IN THE 1ST PHOTO. I WASN'T EVEN HOME....THEY WERE JUST LEFT THERE.

and to those who say" I hope you didn't open them".....open what??? That's the point of this thread.....they weren't in anything, hence....nothing to open.

Here's a link to the Original add where the person states 9/10 condition.

omg dude. I don't know whether to laugh or to feel sorry. This looks like one of those "ghetto" chain letters.

^^ Right, but if you didn't sign for them, isn't FedEx still liable since they weren't technically supposed to deliver without a signature?

I'm on the phone with fedex, there coming back to pick them up.

I found out the guy lied about even insurring them. I told him to insure them for $800, he insured them for 175 total. And fedex even said that the way they were packeged, " they would not be held responsible for any damage"

Fed Ex is responsible.. because if they were unacceptable they wouldnt of shipped them in the first place.. They would say we cant accept them repackage them better.. been told that on multiple things.. So since they took it shipped it and delivered it.. I would say Fedex is responsible 100% on accepting them back and responsible for any damage there was.. But since he insured it only for 175 thats gonna be tough.. I would call your Credit card company right away and report it.. And if you paid with money in your paypal and not credit card then it will be extremely tough to fight this.. good luck thats disgusting how he shipped those and lied to you..

Glad you got it worked out, but I've taken packages back that were left for me unsigned before and refused them, they take them back no problem.

I called FEDEX claims dept. and since I never signed for them, or opened the packaging they're just "return to sender"

It was a car guy that I was talking to, and he couldn't believe somebody would be so stupid

Just wow. I don't know how anyone would think that would be acceptable packing. I really can't believe FedEx accepted them like that.

well, I just got off the phone with the guy that sent em, He did have them insured for 175 each.....that "car guy was wrong" at fedex. He emailed me all the tracking number with the insurance info.

So now I don't know what to do?

Return to sender
Get the 700 from Fedex
Keep the wheels, have em powder coated+fedex insurance$
